According to ancient scriptures, the Beyul- hidden or secret valley- is only open to those with very pure minds and hearts. The Tsum valley, located in the Manaslu region, is nestled between the Budhi Gandaki River and Shiar Khola Rivers. It is a hidden gem known for its pristine natural beauty, rich cultural heritage, and spiritual significance. In this valley, we encounter an indigenous ethnic group with its own unique language, culture, and traditions. This trek offers a truly unique and remarkable journey.
The Tsum Valley is renowned for its ancient Buddhist monasteries, chortens (stupas), and mani walls adorned with Buddhist prayer flags and inscriptions. The valley is also home to several sacred pilgrimages sites, including the revered Milarepa’s Cave, where the famous Tibetan saint Milarepa is believed to have meditated. It is also believed that Guru Rimpoche and Padmasambhava meditated in different caves of the valley for many years. We visit famous sites such as Mu Gompa, a 1000-year-old monastery, Lungfan Gompa, Rachen Gompa, and Milarepa’s cave near burgi village.
Trekking in the Tsum Valley offers breathtaking views of the snow-capped Himalayan peaks. The region is also rich in biodiversity, with diverse flora and fauna, including rare and endangered species such as the snow leopard and red panda.

We will welcome you at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, The city of temples and the kingdom of Himalayas. One of our representatives will be there waiting for your arrival. We will then transfer you to your Hotel, Where You can relax and rest. On the same day, we will have a short meeting about the trekking.
Kathmandu is beautiful valley also known as the city of temples because of its many ancient pagodas and stupas. We will go to Basantapur Durbar square, Swayambunath (Monkey Temple), Bouddhanath stupa, and Bhaktapur durbar square on this day.
In the early morning, we will pick you up from your hotel. We will head to Machha Khola, where we can enjoy the amazing views, rivers, and farming lands. Overnight stay will be at a guesthouse.
After Breakfast, we will follow the narrow trail with ups and downs. After some time, we will reach Tatopani (Hot-spring), where we can enjoy the natural sauna and relieve our tiredness. We will then climb another ridge and cross the Budhi Gandaki on another suspension bridge. Afterward, we will continue our trek with a stone staircase to Jagat. Once we reach Jagat, we will spend the night in a guesthouse.
After breakfast, we will register our permits for Manaslu and Tsum valley at the entry checkpoint. Then, we will start our journey toward Lokpa, where we can experience the Buddhist culture and see Nepal’s longest suspension bridge. Continuing our trek through Phidim, we will reach Ekle Bhatti, where the trail separates between Tsum and Manaslu. From there, we will head toward Lokpa, where we can enjoy beautiful views of the manaslu range. Once we reach Lokpa, we will stay overnight in a tea house.
After having breakfast, we will start our trek to Chumling through the beautiful forest filled with rhododendrons, juniper, and pines trees. After sometime, we will reach C3032humling. Then, we will visit three monasteries: The Panago Gompa, Mani Dhungyut, and Gurwa Gompa. We will stay overnight in a tea house.
On the way, we will see chortens and mani walls made of thousands of stone slabs carved with deities and prayers, classic Tibetan barricades of firewood on the roofs, and we can enjoy stunning views of Ganesh Himal. Once we reach Chhokangparo, we will spend the night here.
After having breakfast, we will headto the Nile. On the way, we will climb up to see the Phu Cave (Also known as Pigeon Cave), where people believe the Tibetan Buddhist Milarepa Meditated. His footfrints are imprinted in this cave. After crossing a suspension bridge over the Shair Khola, we will arrive at the Nile village.
We will leave our backpacks here. After having an early morning breakfast, we will ascend to Mu Gumpa. We will first reach Dhephyudoma Gompa. Mu Gumpa is the largest monastery in this region, with more than 100 monks. Established in 1895, we can find many religious books there. After visiting Mu Gumpa, we will descend, collect our backpacks, and head to Chhokangparo, where we will spend the night.
After having breakfast, we will head to Gumba Lungdang. Along the way, we will see a small Gompa called Gho, a Tibetan Herbal Medicine Clinic and School, a forest of rhododendron, pine, juniper, and several mani walls and prayer flags. Once we reach Gumba Lungdang, this small Gumba is home to more than forty nuns and is known for its intense and engrossing puja every night from 6 pm to 7:30 pm. We can enjoy the breathtaking views of the mountains all around. We will spend the night in the tea house
We will start our trek by ascending. The altitude can make this route difficult for some people, but the views make it a memorable trip. It takes about 4 hours to reach Ganesh Himal Base Camp at 4200 M. After spending some time here, we will return to Gumba Lungdang in time for the evening Puja. We will spend the night here.
Now It’s time to head back, so we will head to Loka today, descending by the upward track. We will traverse some deep gorges, beautiful dense forests, and suspension bridges. Before reaching Lokpa, we will ascend a bit, and finally, we will reach Lo
We will trek along the Budhi Gandaki River and cross the long suspension bridge over it. We will walk through forests and terrain. Once we reach Jagat, we will spend the night there.
After breakfast, we will head to Machha Khola. We will trek along the rocky rocky path, descending through the forest until we reach Machha Khola. We will spend the night in a lodge there.
After having breakfast, You will drive baak to Kathmandu. You will see some amazing views, such as mountain, rivers, gorges and farming lands. Once you arrive in Kathmandu, you can do some last-minute shopping for your friends and families as a gift from Nepal. In the nighttime, you can enjoy the nightlife of Thamel.
This is your final day in Kathmandu. One of our representatives will take you to the airport at least three hours before your scheduled departure.
